Funny Foto Friday: April Fools!

First a bit of a somber note. A relative that I somewhat lost touch with was recently diagnosed with Leukemia  She is doing the normal treatment of body destroying medicines to try to fight back the sickness.  The reason I mention it is that she had told me at one time that she starts her day with reading this blog and always got a chuckle out of it. It is a medically proven fact that laughter helps with healing, so hopefully this will help. I really hope so.

I hate April fools.  I really really do.  Well, let me clarify.  I hate it if I am the one who is fooled.  Far too many "so and so died" or "I'm pregnant!" to give me gray hairs.  Reading about other people getting fooled, however? Hilarious.  Since there are a billion stories out there, here are two that I ran across over the past few days.

WHY did I just see this now? I could have been doing this w/ my Stress Fracture doc!
Although, I think that he had a model of a uterus in there or something. Hmmmm...

Ok, this is freaking hilarious. Seriously. I want to do this.

The folks that run the Rock and Roll marathon group  posted this picture on their Facebook wall about the "jogging craze" that was hitting the celebrity circuit in the 70s.  Just think, we're all basically celebrities - only 40 years too late.

So. Much. Hair.

Finally, the weekly picture of my son.  I have to admit, I really like posting these pictures.  I expect that I'll probably find this blog again in 10 years, collect all of these pics, and make a fun timeline.  Anyway, the Easter bunny brought a massive Dora coloring book and one night this week we cracked open a fresh pack of crayons (colors?) and went to town. There is something about the way crayons smell that reminds me of melting crayons on the radiator at school.  Hehe.  Happy Friday!

You color Orange, dada!

I tend to not go out at all on April Fool's day and tend to not get on social media until midnight which means it's April 2nd and no one can pull any more jokes! I'm so gullible sometimes! ha!
Your son is growing up so fast!! Fun times coloring in a coloring book!! :)
Enjoy your weekend!

Sorry to hear about your relative. Guess you will have to post more funny stuff to help out. Good reason to post more :-).

Totally over the "I'm pregnant" bit. There has to be something newer, fresher, and funnier.
My brother-in-law is fighting lymphoma, so I, too, do what I can to make the family laugh. That was what my dad did when he was fighting colon cancer. It's not much, but it's something, hey?

I didn't get pranked this year but man I got the kids a few times!!
Kids are just gullible and I might be kinda mean ;-)

Sorry to hear about your relative. I am sort of in a similar situation, only the relative is someone I'm pretty close to. Most of the time, I try to be in denial about the whole thing because otherwise, it's just really hard.

So on that note: I wish my hair looked like Farrah's while running.
