But, in spite of the impending sickness, I did get out for 8 miles (in 59 min) this morning - not the 15 that I had planned, but still a good enough 8 to prove that I will indeed make it.
Fortunately, by my own admission, I'm a horrible sick person and whine all day long. So, that should be fun for my family. Wait, did I say "fortunately"? I actually meant "oh god, I think I'm dying".
--------------------------------------------------------------
Every once in a while there is something invented that takes opulence to an entirely new level. There was that guy who had the gold plated toilet created or the rapper that had diamonds implanted into his teeth. Bling bling! While a bit of old news, I recently ran across yet another example of "Really? We need to spend that kind of money on THAT?" Louis Vuitton is making a condom.
As reported by the Huffington Post, it isn't actually Louis Vuitton, but instead an architect (??) is creating a condom emblazoned with the trademark LV not only on the packaging but also on the device itself to offer more "enjoyment" for your dollar.
The best part? The thing costs $68 EACH. Now, you certainly can't put a price on an STD (actually, you can - $40 co-pay at the clinic) but that seems awfully pricey for something that is meant to go on that and then put into that other thing. I'm certainly no expert, but I've got to think that there are much better ways to show that you're a big spender. What about a toilet with the Louis Vuitton logo in gold? Bling Bling! Happy Friday!
Slightly related. I think this explains my life better than any picture EVER!
I should change this to my profile picture

That is the best chart EVER!! Seriously. I was laughing so hard. That's completely my husband and me. Although, I'm the one that thinks I'm hilarious. HA!
Too funny! I needed a good laugh!
Now I'm imagining there's something living in there to SEE the LV logo. Because, you know, Halloween and monsters under the bed and everything.
That's just bizarre.
Hope you get better quickly! That's a rocking 8 mile run :)
Your chart is pretty funny. I am a stats person, so that makes perfect sense. Haha!
I went ahead and added you to the list.
Love the chart.
Scratching my head on who would buy that condom.
That chart is hilarious. It fits me and my husband for sure.
Wonder where the chart line goes after the 2nd child!?!? Yikes!
Hope you're feeling better soon!!!
I like the small print under the condom - Inside every story is a beautiful journey. So romantic. It's almost worth the $68. Or, alternatively I could fill up my car with petrol.
An LV condom? Surely that must be a joke... or... OR... I need to find something that I can brand and market to rich, gullible people! Instant retirement plan!
Love the chart...
The chart applies to non-married people too and you don't even need kids to make it true.
Hope you get better soon.
That chart has got to have serious research behind it because it seems to be true for EVERYone! My household, too. But I'm the perpetually hilarious (in my opinion) one.
