Funny Foto Friday: Fun with Signs & Debt Limit Rap

Humor comes from a lot of strange places. It can sneak up on you like a fart in an intense meeting or it can smack you in the back of the head in the form of a joke about how the world needs more cowbell

Sometimes however, humor comes in the form of vandalism. Vandalism to street signs. Vandalism, like crotch kicks, is either hilarious or anger inducing. I’ll let you be the judge. I sure know Vanilla Ice makes ME angry. Happy Friday!

Finally the debt limit. For those of you not in the United States or those of you who have been living under a rock, the US has a bit of a spending problem.  It is sort of like that friend that drives the new Cadillac Escalade, has those fancy jeans with the horseshoe on the ass, and always is wearing a Rolex. All the while working at WalMart stocking the laundry detergent isle.  So far the US has racked up around $13.9999 Trillion in debt and once it hits $14T, the repo man comes and takes away Social Security.  I think.  Actually, the repo man might take away freedom.

Anywhoo, where there is possible national calamity, there is some fool making fun of it hilariously on YouTube.  Enjoy!

So, I was in college during the Bush/Gore election. And we had some RABID Nader supporters on campus, as small liberal arts colleges are apt to have.

There weren't many stop signs in our tiny college town, but one got a lot of action. There was a near daily war of sticker placement. Both parties had stop-sign-red stickers you could buy with the other candidate's name on them, so you could vandalize all the stop signs you want with "Stop [guy you don't like]."

The "Stop Bush"/"Stop Nader" oscillation was pretty awesome. I'm sure campus security wasn't amused, but everyone else was.

thanks for the laughs. Although the only thing funny about the whole debt thing is that we elect such foolish individuals to make those ridiculous decisions!

Okay, so I think I'm going to have to get the Ninja Entry sign. That kinda rocks. Besides, it'd look cool right out there by the buffalo.

So if it's $40 000 every man, woman and child does a pregnant woman owe double?

Ha. I'll be happy if there is such a thing as social security when I retire.

So, if we hit our spending limit we need to stop paying Congressional paychecks? I don't understand the problem here...

I don't know, there was no deficit when Bush took over from Clinton. A nice surplus in fact. Those wars sure were a good idea. Sorry Adam, you started it though.

Those signs are awesome - especially the bacon one. I took a bunch of pics of funny signs in Scotland. My favorite was "Oncoming vehicles in middle of road."

I actually heard on the radio the other day that Apple has $76 billion in cash reserves and the US Govt has $73 billion.
