Funny Foto Friday: I'm Old

I'm not sure if it is because I am turning 30 this summer or because I eat dinner at 4pm at Dennys have a kid and need a nut bra (watch that - hilarious) but I'm feeling pretty old.

In an attempt at kicking me while I am down poking fun at my advancing age, RunningLaur sent me this link that really reminded me how time flies.  Happy Friday!

Remember that drink your parents wouldn’t let you drink? It hasn’t been sold in 10 years.

That pie was taken advantage of 12 years ago.

Remember floppy disks?

Jonathan Lipnicki is 21!

Seinfeld has been off the air for 13 years.

Wow, that's pretty ridiculous! The most shocking one has to be the kid from Jerry McGuire.

I'd never heard of the drink, but all those other ones seem like yesterday!!

I'm younger than you and I remember all of that stuff!!! I am so thankful Surge is no longer sold...that stuff was gross!

Oh, no...I'm old too. And since I'm older than you, that makes me REALLY old, like the crypt keeper (Lindsay Lohan Freaky Friday reference). My husband and I still tell each other, "This one time...at band camp..."

This is crazy! I'm glad I'm not the only old one around here:) Welcome to your 30s, buddy!

I hate it when people younger than me gripe about being old. :P Adam please! Go tell it to someone in their early 20s. I'm battling crow's feet, white hair and getting sleepy at 9:00pm. I'm sure there are more lovely things in store for me. Do you have a post coming up that will remind me of how young I am?

What's sad about that link showing how old you are is that many of those references are TOO CURRENT for me to know them, not too old! Show me some late 70's/early 80's references, then I'll get it. Now...where the hell's my Geritol...

American Pie was 12 years ago??!!

Wow...I never thought about the fact that kids don't know what a floppy disk is! lol...I remember surge! Man that stuff made me hyper! I just turned 28 and I feel the same way! I think the fact that I am just now having my first child is making me feel more old! lol :) Oh and I played the flute when that American Pie movie came out...Yes I heard the band joke on multiple occasions! lol Thanks for the memories of my teenage years! :)

Oh that poor pie. Pie was never the same to me again.

It makes me smile that so many of your funny fridays are links i know you'll appreciate.

Also, if SURGE were still to be made, I'm pretty sure it'd be at every ultra. for shame.

I thought this post would make me feel better, but since I also remember all those things (mmm surge) I just feel old. Thanks!

Gee thanks for making me feel ancient! :)

If Mountain Dew isn't "extreme" enough, Surge was the drink for you. I didn't even realize it was off the market it's been so long since I've thought about it.

Just found your blog...great stuff. Thanks!

Wow...I am freshly 30 (but with 2 little ones, so that adds another 20 years) and I totally forgot about Surge...Damn I miss the 90's....

I saw the same link today and was shocked it was 12 years since American Pie.

Ha! Me and D just mentioned American Pie a few nights ago. You know that new sitcom Mad Love with Jason Biggs in it? I was like, "Man he looks a lot older now." D said, "Uhhhh, dumbass, he IS a lot older now." I didn't realize how old American Pie was!!! Definitely made me feel old.

Seriously though. Thirty rocks. And so far 31 ain't so bad either.

I'm also turning 30 this year. Now I feel old.

Thanks Adam. Really appreciate that post. I'm pretty sure that I am your oldest Follower.

I think you read that record players are so old that they are now back "in".

I know I'm not that old, but my goodness! This article made me feel ancient.

PS - I'm not still jealous of my best friend growing up that had a separate VHS rewinder. I had to do it the old fashioned way on the VCR. Nope, not jealous, not at all.

I never DID actually have a Surge and apparently am glad as it is now off the market.
Seinfeld...13 years?!?!

The apple pie scene had me in tears...it was so funny.

I'm older than you and never heard of Surge...it was past my time.

Holy crap, uh, thanks... I feel old too now. I just realized I graduated college 10 years ago. Seriously? Argh! At least I can definitely say I'm way fitter! What good is youth when you get winded walking up the stairs anyway :P.

I'm also turning 30 this summer and my son will be 3 years old this summer too. That "Think you're young" post was funny but utterly depressing. How about we just turn 28 instead of 30?
