My Tweets - Expanded

Went on a solid 12.3 mile run this morning (7:40ish pace).  I had to cut it a bit short because I had to take a bathroom break (2nd time this morning - but who is counting) and needed to get back.  My wife is starting to get back into running and I promised I would be back by 8am so that she could get her miles in.  I'll post about it more in the future, but she has exercise induced asthma and has a window for her inhaler to be effective.

Over the past few weeks, I've become a bit more active on twitter.  You can follow me here.   Much like seeing someone with clothes on and then naked the tip of an iceberg, those love handles, scars and cellulite little 140 character posts often have stories all their own.....

Think about it....how the hell do Lions stay alive?  All they eat is meat, meat, meat. No fiber, no carbohydrates, no beer. Crazy! I'm pretty sure that I'd need some sort of Jarid the Subway Guy intervention if all I ate was bacon.  Maybe I'm just eating the wrong KIND of meat.  Anyone know if zebras make bacon?

I've been a bit like a bulimic at a Chineese Buffet at a with my blog reading as of late.  Most of that is because I started a new project at work.  I work with a TON of awesome people, but sometimes I just need to get some stuff done (read blogs).....and sometimes people just won't leave you alone.

Let the party begin!  As of 8am this morning Arizona time, the pre-game has begun!  Whomever you are planning on cheering for, I think that we can all sigh a little inside at the lack of cheerleaders.  Neither team has them so none will be at the big game.  But, I suppose that is OK though - there is enough Botox and Silicone in the halftime shows to make up for it.

Cheerleaders: They go almost anywhere - no ticket required
There is NO excuse Green Bay / Pittsburgh
(For the record, she probably didn't even cost extra for being over 75 lbs...)

I'd say based on your running/race times, you're eating just fine. In fact, maybe I need to be on your diet.

The female lions do all the work, too. It's good to be the king.

My husband and I often have to tag-team run too. You gotta do what you gotta do (guess that goes for the potty stop too). :)

Just came across your blog and enjoying it. Quick comment on the "lions eating meat" thing. Notice that the fattest, laziest animals in the kingdom (cows, elephants, etc) are vegetarians while the slickest, fastest animals (lions, cheetahs, etc) are carnivores. Food for thought.

I refuse to drink the Twitter-flavored Kool-Aid.

The diff between you and a lion's diet is principally b/c they are carnivores and you're designed to be an omnivore. Sheesh, did you skip 8th grade biology?
