Funny Foto Friday: Calvin and Hobbes

When I think of my childhood, I think of sitting on my grandpa's lap and reading the funny paper together.  One of the highlights was always the Calvin and Hobbes comic.  Calvin always seemed to embody exactly what I was thinking as a kid.

Merry Christmas to those of us that celebrate.  To those of us that don't, happy Friday!

Oh, and if you got all the way down to the bottom, I figured that you should be rewarded with something.  Hubbida hubbida.

Love it! I actually sent this post to my dad because cartoons are something I remember doing with him too. When I would wake up to get ready for school, he would have cut out a funny one and put it by my cereal bowl.
Merry Christmas, Adam!

Calvin and Hobbes snow horror creations - beautiful. Is it wrong to recreate these as a family activity? I hope not. It really brings out the holiday spirit me thinks.

Calvin and Hobbs are the BEST! My husband and I have every book of them, and now our kids read them all. Thanks for sharing, and Merry Christmas!

I love the Calvin & Hobbes snowman series. I had the same twisted sense of humour as a kid and remember making a snowman that was "impaled" on a fence post. :) Have a fantastic Christmas with your family & loved ones!

Those bring back memories of my childhood. We always used to shave ho ho ho into my mom's chest hair.

Merry Christmas!

C&H = best comic strip ever.
As for the shaved dude...I could only do that on top of my head. I'm not particularly gorilla-esque on the torso.

Calvin and Hobbs snowmen are the best. They crack me up. If you search the web there are some real life scenes people have made based on the comic strip.
