There are a lot of milestones in life. Being able to drive, vote, buy beer, get cheaper insurance (25), getting married, etc. The list goes on and on. Late this week I realized that I may have officially crossed another very major milestone. I think that I am going to have to shave every day.
So, to answer the question that I know you have in your mind: Yes. I am a little girl.
Up until this point, I haven’t had to shave but every other day. In fact, on the weekends, I
regularly go every third day. I was able to pull this off because of a combination of having blond hair and just plain ‘ol not having a lot of hair. In fact, I don’t have much hair at all on my arms, I have a no hair on my back (yay), and I have only a bit of hair on my chest (need to do more manly things to ‘earn’ that according to my dad). So, depending on how you look at it, I have been fairly lucky.That isn’t to say that I don’t have hair in spots. For example, I have crazy bad old man hair on my ears that bugs the shit out of me.
But, my good fortune has run out and I am now a man. I’ll now have to plan on an extra 5 minutes per day to shave off the man fur. This is going to directly reduce the time that I am able to spend with my buddy Al Rocher. Who knows, maybe I’ll accidentally sprout a chest hair now.

Wow. I'm trying not to laugh.
Just the other day, my boyfriend said to me that he's been having to shave every OTHER day instead of every FEW days. I mocked him for turniing into a man this late in the game.

Shaving is a completely overrated aspect of manhood. Consider yourself lucky for being overlooked by the hair gene.
