Yes Sir!!

While in Cleveland this week, I got to meet a lot of new people. A lot of the people are installers or were previously installers. It isn’t important so much what they are installing so much as they were (or are) a blue collar workforce. After I had met a few people and conducted a few meetings, I was asked by one of the guys if I was former military. Once he asked, a few people also commented in the same conversation “Yeah, I could see you as military”. I was shocked! I had never heard that before.

However, to be honest I was a little honored. I keep the armed forces in very high regard. In fact, I almost went to the Air Force Academy. I even was working towards the Congressional recommendation that is required. I can only assume that they thought that I was previous military because of good qualities: Discipline, Honor, Duty, Snappy Salute, Yelling "Yes drill Sargent!" Forest Gump style after each sentence, something else?? Hopefully it wasn’t some sort of post traumatic stress induced rage that they saw in my eyes. I mostly try to hide that during the week.

So, what do you think? Do I look like I could be military? I like my hair high and tight, but I’m not sure what else there is to give someone that impression. Here are a few samples of my most militaristic pictures:
