Flight 3407

I was recently told that a friend of a friend knows at least one, if not two people who were on this flight.

I don't want to get overly dramatic, but it gets me thinking about the possibility of my buddy being on that plane or, as much as I fly, me being on that plane.

I've always said that I am never comfortable when I fly standby because whenever a plane goes down inevitably you hear stories of people who were going to catch the flight but then didn't because of one thing or another. This flight is no different. There was a lady on the Today Show who was going to catch flight 3407, but didn't because of a long line to get on it. I guess it wasn't her time?

Eeek.

I used to love flying when I was little, then I suddenly developed this total fear and anxiety over it. Now I'm stuck somewhere in the middle, but I hate the thought of my plane crashing... what a sad way to go.

I saw this in the AM. We actually live right next to an airport and it's my worst freekin nightmare (having a plane come down on the house). So sad :-(

Michelle,

I'll totally be your runnernanny! Of course, that means that you need to have a strong back - because you'll be my sherpa carrying a boombox cranking out the tunes! I can expect only the best youtube compliations from you I am sure.
