Cross Training

My leg is still bothering me when I run, so in the words of Fergie, I’ve been up in the gym just working on my fitness. And by that, I mean biking on the recumbent bike. It has been going pretty well. On 10/21 I knocked out a pretty solid 15 miles and on 10/22 I biked a quick 8 miles. I don’t feel like I’m getting nearly as good of a workout as I do when I run – and I REALLY don’t like it as well as when I run – but it is something to do while my leg heals.

On a side note, I have postponed my doctors appointment because my leg has really been feeling quite better. I can do almost everything BUT run without any pain. I have my fingers crossed that come mid November I’ll be able to handle some form of running without any pain.
